Next evolution of Verge TS Pro by Verge Motorcycles is a showcase of strong design and engineering expertise

04/11/2025
The new Verge TS Pro includes numerous updates that take the motorcycle’s technical features and user experience to an entirely new level. The highlight of the new bike is that it features the next generation of Verge’s famous hubless motor, the Donut Motor 2.0, enabling unprecedented performance with 50% less weight.
Verge Motorcycles unveiled the next evolution of Verge TS Pro model today at the international EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. The Verge TS Pro is the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s most popular model, series production of which began in 2023.
The redesigned Verge TS Pro highlights the company’s strong engineering expertise and dedication to continuous product development. The new version offers increased rider comfort and enhanced performance all round.
“When we unveiled the Verge TS Pro in the fall of 2022, it was the most advanced electric motorcycle on the market. In recent years, our team has worked tirelessly to make it even better. This bike – now equipped with a lighter hubless Donut motor, a new battery and an improved user experience – delivers a truly enjoyable ride and embodies our vision for the future of electric mobility,” says Tuomo Lehtimäki, CEO of Verge Motorcycles.
The next evolution of the Verge TS Pro is available to order starting today through the Verge website or at Verge Motorcycles showrooms in Germany and the United Kingdom. In the United States, the bike is available for reservation only. Test rides will be available at European showrooms and in the United States starting in early 2026.
Upgraded hardware enables exceptional performance
At the heart of the revamped Verge TS Pro is the eye-catching, patented Donut Motor 2.0, which has also undergone a comprehensive update. The second-generation motor delivers the same impressive power and torque as its predecessor (1,000 Nm) but is 50% lighter than the previous version. This makes the entire bike lighter (total weight of 230 kg) and allows for significantly improved efficiency, stability, and control. The bike accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.
The Verge TS Pro sets a new standard for electric motorcycles with an upgraded and powerful 20.2 kWh battery that provides up to 217 miles of range and fast charging in less than 35 minutes. In practical terms, a quick 15-minute coffee break adds around 60 miles of range. Enhanced control technology not only ensures more efficient charging but also improves thermal and energy management. The motorcycle supports CCS charging in Europe and CCS charging in the United States.
The updated Verge TS Pro features larger, clearer displays that help the rider stay informed about the bike’s status, surroundings and alerts. The user interface is more intuitive and features a wider array of riding data. Improved connectivity and built-in Bluetooth technology are also featured with the newest Verge TS Pro HMI.
“I’m proud of our team’s efforts in developing the updated Verge TS Pro. Their expertise and dedication are evident in everything, from challenging the original size of the hubless motor to improving battery performance and delivering a better user experience through advanced display solutions. These improvements not only strengthen Verge’s position as an innovative pioneer in its field but also deliver superior riding experiences for our users,” says Krishna Kiran Mistry, Verge’s VP of Engineering.
Starmatter platform – the motorcycle’s digital ecosystem
Launched in November 2023 and developed by Verge, the Starmatter platform integrates software updates, sensor technology, artificial intelligence and an advanced user interface. It enables automatic over-the-air (OTA) updates, allowing Verge riders to receive new features and performance improvements seamlessly.
The cutting-edge Starmatter platform also powers the entire software experience of the updated Verge TS Pro, tailoring the ride experience to each user individually. Thanks to the motorcycle’s upgraded internal hardware, new functionalities can be activated without the need for physical modifications – ensuring the bike remains future-ready and up to date throughout its lifecycle. The Starmatter platform is designed for both mobile and desktop use.
Refined design for a more enjoyable riding experience
Over the past few years, Verge has collected feedback and insights from numerous customer test rides. Based on this input, the company has updated the suspension and damping settings of the bike. The ride feel and handling have been further improved, and the motorcycle’s riding posture angle has been adjusted to 25 degrees, offering a more comfortable and ergonomic riding position.
